GRIFFIN'’S FRIENDS COMMUNITY NIGHT at TEXAS ROADHOUSE 2008

                              Wednesday, June 25, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Texas Roadhouse in Springfield is hosting a Griffin’s Friends Community Night!  The Roadhouse is a community-minded restaurant serving ribs, steak, chicken, fish, and more, with country music on the juke box, line-dancing servers, TVs at the bar, and lots of peanuts everywhere!

Enjoy Dinner and Support Griffin’s Friends!   Print out this announcement, bring your family, pass out copies to  friends!  Arrive for dinner at the Roadhouse any time from 4 to 8 PM the evening  of June 25.  Delicious meals with fresh hot rolls and sides start at $8.99.

Present this flyer to your Texas Roadhouse server.  Griffin’s Friends will benefit from all raffle proceeds and Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of Griffin’s Friends dinner and bar checks accompanied by this announcement.

RAFFLE DRAWINGS!

Maria and Jim Sansalone will be at the Roadhouse door manning the raffle table.  Raffle tickets will be sold (10 tickets for $5, or 25 for $10) from 4 to 8 PM with prizes drawn at 8 PM. We plan to call prizewinners the next day, so no need to stay for the drawings. Just come and enjoy a nice evening out with fellow Griffin’s Friends supporters!

IMPORTANT SMALL PRINT:

Texas Roadhouse can get busy especially from 5 to 6:30 PM, so please use call ahead seating at 413-782-8100 1 hour before you plan to come in—you may have to wait for a table if you arrive at that time. The Roadhouse is open from 4 until 10 PM.  They will gladly accept this flyer after 8 PM, if you prefer to stop by later in the evening.

AQUA STRING BAND HEADS ALL STAR CAST IN BENEFIT FOR GRIFFIN'S FRIENDS

On March 27, the Aqua String Band, a Mummers band from Philadelphia, performed at O'Brien's Corner to benefit Griffin's Friends. The Aqua String Band was preceded by the Caledonian Pipe Band of Holyoke who regaled the hundreds of guests with classic, stirring bagpipe music. The night was also highlighted by the area's pre-eminent Elvis show, Ray of Elvis, starring the fabulous Ray Guillmette. Bobby Darling and Dr. Devine, with their unique treatment of rock and roll classics,  had the crowd reeling. All of the performers were terrific.

It was a wonderful, fun night. Several hundred supporters revelled in the entertainment for a good cause.

Thanks to the sponsors of the event and especially Brian Elliott, who organized the benefit.
